APTET Notification 2022 has been released by the Department of School Education, AP, Government of India. Candidates can check application date, exam date, eligibility and other details.

APTET Recruitment Notification 2022: Department of School Education, Government of India is conducting the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET August 2022) 06 August to 21 August 2022 In all districts in the form of Computer Based Test. Online applications are invited for classes I to VIII from candidates willing to become teachers in State Government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, Municipality, Private Aided Schools and Private Unaided Schools etc. under the control of the State of Andhra Pradesh for Classes I to VIII.

Candidates must note that APTET application will start from June 16. However, they can submit the application fee from 15th June 2022.

APTET will be conducted in four parts:

  • Paper – 1A – For Classes I to V
  • Paper 1B – Regarding Special Education for classes I to V
  • Paper 2A – For classes VI to VIII
  • Paper 2B – Regarding Special Education Teachers for Classes VI to VIII

Eligibility Criteria for APTET 2022

educational qualification:

For Paper-IA (Class I to V):

  1. Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (OR)
  2. Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) as per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002 (OR)
  3. Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
  4. Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) (OR)
  5. Graduation and two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (or)
  6. Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) (OR) Post Graduation with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three years integrated B.Ed/M.Ed.

For Paper-IB (Class I to V):

  • Intermediate/Senior Secondary and two year D.Ed. Special education in any category of disability
    (OR) Intermediate / Senior Secondary and one year Diploma in Special Education (DSE) in any category of disability. (either)
  • Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (DCBR) with 6 months Certificate Course in Education of Children with Special Needs. (either)
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (PGDCBR) with 6 months Certificate Course in Education of Children with Special Needs. (either)
  • Diploma in Multi Rehabilitation Worker (MRW) with 06 Months Certificate Course in Education of Children with Special Needs.
  • (OR) Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf.
  • (or) Primary Level Teacher Training Course in Visual Impairment.
  • (OR) Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation – Mental Retardation (DVR-MR) / Diploma in Vocational Training and Employment – Mental Retardation (DVTE-MR) with 06 months Certificate Course in Education of Children with Special Needs.
  • (OR) Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech (DHLS) with 06 months Certificate Course in Education of Children with Special Needs.
  • (OR) Intermediate / Senior Secondary with any qualification recognized by RCI with minimum one year duration and passed 06 months certificate course in education of children with special needs.
  • (or) any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI.

Paper 2A

  • Post Graduation with B.Ed with at least 50% marks in either Graduation (OR), (OR)
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor of Education as per NCTE recognition norms and procedure regulations issued from time to time in this regard. (either)
  • Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) (OR)
  • Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year BA / B.Sc. Ed. OR B.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
    (either)
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed (Special Education) (OR)
  • Post Graduation with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three years integrated B.Ed-M.Ed.

Paper 2B

Graduate with B.Ed (Special Education) / B.Ed (General) with one year Diploma in Special Education / B.Ed. (General) Two years Diploma in Special Education / B.Ed. (General) with Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Special Education (PGDC) / PG Diploma in Special Education (Mental Retardation) / PG Diploma in Special Education (Multiple Disability: Physical & Neurological) / PG Diploma in Special Education (Locomotor Impairment and Cerebral Palsy) / Secondary Level Teacher Training Course in Visual Impairment / Senior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf / BA B.Ed. In
Visual Impairment / Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI.
